Our Process

Copilot is an online client portal designed to help Metrosuite onboard clients and deliver services through a secure platform. Our aim is to maximize transparency while enhancing the client experience.

Copilot is implemented at the start of each project, allowing us to communicate with clients and share files, contracts, and forms—all in one place.

  • Step 1 - Introduce Yourself

Begin your Metrosuite homeownership journey by simply submitting our user-friendly contact form. Upon receipt, our responsive team of experts will review your property for eligibility and reach out to address your inquiries.

  • Step 2 - Discovery Call

Engage with us one-on-one to find the home that best suits your needs, budget, and property. Generally, we discuss our general process and timeline with homeowners at this stage.

  • Step 3 - Visit Our Showroom

We are proud to offer our customers the opportunity to experience a full-size Metrosuite garden suite in a climate-controlled setting. Our showroom, just north of Toronto in Richmond Hill, is currently available by appointment only. If you are considering an garden suite purchase, we strongly suggest you make the time to see, touch, and feel an actual Metrosuite in person.

  • Step 4 - Feasibility & Sign-Off

Our expert Metrosuite team will conduct a thorough on-site feasibility assessment of your property. This crucial evaluation ensures that the garden suite is a perfect fit for your space, taking into account the unique characteristics and constraints of your land. This on-site visit is complimentary and requires no commitment.

  • Step 5 - Factory & Site Work

After signing the contract, our permitting team will begin getting the building permit. We will clear the site and lay the foundation. If needed, we can remove sheds, trash, or waste by demolishing and hauling them away. We prioritize keeping trees, only removing them if necessary. Once the home is completed and transported to the site, we will take care to crane it over your home safely into place.

  • Step 6 - Enjoy Your New Space

A Metrosuite representative will be on-site to assist with the final Tarion inspection and the local municipality to secure your warranty and occupancy certificates, respectively. And with that, you’re done! The entire process, from start to finish, takes as little as four to six months from receiving a permit.

A truly seamless process.

We take care of the details, so you don’t have to.
